Learn English the way you actually acquire language — through meaning, voice, and immersion.

You've tried the apps. You've memorized vocabulary lists. You've drilled grammar rules. And you're still not fluent.

It's not you. It's the method.

Most English learning is designed backwards — teaching mechanics before meaning, rules before expression, correctness before confidence. My courses do the opposite: we start with your voice, your goals, your life — and build fluency from there.

Welcome to English learning that feels human.

Six Courses, One Philosophy

My italki courses are built around The Fluent Framework — a teaching philosophy that prioritizes meaning over mechanics, voice over vocabulary, and sustainable practice over burnout.

These six courses form two interconnected trilogies:

The Foundational Trilogy: Mindset & Method

Courses that dismantle traditional beliefs and rebuild how you approach English.

These courses are corrective and transformational. They challenge everything you've been taught about grammar, vocabulary, and language acquisition. They're designed for people who've been studying the wrong way and need permission — and a framework — to learn differently.

Core Principle: You don't need to study harder. You need to learn smarter — through meaning, not mechanics.

The Applied Fluency Trilogy: Expression & Integration

Courses that help you inhabit English in real life.

These courses are experiential and embodied. They take the philosophy from the Foundational Trilogy and turn it into lived practice. They're designed for people ready to stop preparing and start using — to speak with confidence, share their stories, and make English a natural part of their daily existence.

Core Principle: Fluency isn't about perfection. It's about presence — showing up as yourself in English.

Your Learning Path

There's no single "right" path through these courses. Enter wherever your pain point is:

  • Stuck translating in your head? → Start with How To Think In English

  • Know the rules but can't speak? → Start with Confidence In Conversation

  • Drowning in flashcards? → Start with Vocabulary That Actually Sticks

  • Been intermediate forever? → Start with Everyday English Reboot

But no matter where you start, you're being introduced to The Fluent Framework. And once you experience one course, you'll see how the others fit.

The Six Courses

  • How To Think In English

    Stop translating. Start processing.

Learn to rewire your brain for direct English comprehension through immersion, pattern recognition, and input that actually matters to you.

This course is for you if:

You're stuck translating everything in your head

You understand English, but it still feels effortful

You're ready to stop "studying" and start immersing

  • Grammar Through Voice

Stop memorizing rules. Start noticing patterns.

Learn grammar the way native speakers do — through context, culture, and emotional meaning. Grammar as palette, not prison.

This course is for you if:

You know the rules, but can't use them naturally

You freeze because you're afraid of making mistakes

You're tired of drills that don't translate to real communication

  • Vocabulary That Actually Sticks

Stop drowning in word lists. Start building a personal lexicon.

Learn how to curate, acquire, and retain vocabulary through meaning and emotion — no flashcards required.

This course is for you if:

You memorize words but can't use them in conversation

You're stuck in the flashcard abyss

You're ready to take ownership of your vocabulary acquisition

  • Confidence In Conversation

Stop freezing when it's time to speak.

Build emotional fluency, spontaneity, and authentic self-expression. Learn to trust your English voice and communicate with personality, not perfection.

This course is for you if:

You understand English well, but panic when speaking

You know the language but lack confidence

You're tired of sounding robotic or overly formal

  • The Art of Telling Your Story In English

    Stop explaining. Start expressing.

Learn to share your life, experiences, and identity in English with authenticity, emotion, and narrative power. This is where language becomes self-expression.

This course is for you if:

You feel like you "lose yourself" in English

You're ready to move beyond surface-level exchanges

You want to connect deeply, not just communicate functionally

  • Everyday English Reboot

    Break through the intermediate plateau.

Stop "studying" and start living in English. Redesign your daily habits and environment to make English your default — not a task, but a lifestyle.

This course is for you if:

You've been stuck at intermediate forever

You consume English but rarely use it actively

You're tired of traditional study methods that don't create progress

 FAQs

  • All courses are taught live, one-on-one on italki — meaning you work directly with me in real-time.

You choose how often & for how long you’d like your sessions based on your schedule. Lessons are highly interactive — we'll have conversations, work through real-world scenarios, and practice together. You'll get real-time feedback tailored to your specific needs and challenges.

No textbooks required. We use your input — the podcasts, shows, articles, or books you're already consuming — as our curriculum. You bring your interests; I bring the framework.

  • There’s no set number of lessons you need to take to “complete” a course. Based on your interests, needs, and changing rhythms, I will continue to develop lesson plans covering topics for as long as you need until you feel comfortable enough to move forward — whether that’s to another topic or from English lessons altogether.

  • Course pricing depends on my standard italki rate and the number of sessions.

You can also book a trial lesson first to see if my teaching style is a good fit before committing to a full course.

  • No. You can start wherever your pain point is.

    • Been intermediate forever? → Start with Everyday English Reboot

While there's an internal logic to how the courses build (foundation → application → integration), each course stands alone. Start where you need it most, and see where your learning takes you from there.

  • These courses are designed for intermediate to advanced learners.

If you can understand this page, hold a basic conversation, and express your ideas (even if imperfectly), you're ready.

    These courses are NOT for:

    • Complete beginners who need alphabet and basic grammar lessons

    • Learners expecting traditional textbook-style teaching with rigid drills

    • People looking for "fluency in 30 days" quick fixes

    These courses ARE for:

    • People who understand English but struggle to speak naturally

    • Learners frustrated with apps, textbooks, and mechanical methods

    • Anyone ready to stop "studying" and start using English in their real life

    • People who want a sustainable, voice-first approach to fluency

  • I don't teach English the way you learned it in school. I teach it the way you actually acquire language — through meaning, immersion, and voice-first practice.

Here's what sets my courses apart:

Philosophy-driven: These courses are rooted in The Fluent Framework — a teaching approach I've developed over six years that prioritizes sustainable, human learning over mechanical methods.

I'm also a learner: I'm currently learning Portuguese, Arabic, and French — which means I understand what it's like to be on the other side of the learning process. I know the frustration, the plateaus, the vulnerability.

It's not just about grammar: Fluency isn't about correctness. It's about confidence, identity, and cultural connection. My courses reflect that.

Personalized, not prescriptive: We use your life, your interests, your input as the foundation. This isn't one-size-fits-all teaching.

  • Yes, but I generally recommend focusing on one course at a time so you can fully engage with the ideas and practice between sessions.

Once you complete one course, you can move on to the next — or take a break and return when you're ready.

  • Book a trial lesson. We'll talk about your goals, your challenges, and where you feel stuck. I'll recommend the course that makes the most sense for you — and we can adjust from there.

  • Cancellations and rescheduling follow italki's standard policies. Just let me know as soon as possible, and we'll find a time that works.

  • Not yet, but I'm working on self-paced versions of these courses that will be available in the future. If you'd like to be notified when they launch, join my email list.

For now, these courses are only available live, one-on-one on italki.

  • Currently, I only teach English. However, The Fluent Framework (the philosophy behind these courses) applies to learning any language. If you're learning another language, explore my podcasts (The Fluency Fix, Native To Me) and resources for methodology that works across languages.
